At Jiangyin Aige, every pair of custom wool socks begins its journey in our 12,000-square-meter facility in Jiangyin, Jiangsu — a region renowned for its deep roots in China's knitting and textile industry. Our factory houses over 80 Lonati and Santoni electronic knitting machines, ranging from 84-needle to 200-needle gauges, enabling us to produce everything from fine-gauge dress socks to heavyweight terry-loop hiking styles with equal precision.

The production process starts with yarn selection. We source premium merino wool from certified suppliers in Australia and New Zealand, blending it with nylon and elastane for durability and stretch. Each batch is tested for fiber micron count, tensile strength, and colorfastness before it enters our winding and knitting lines. Our in-house yarn dyeing facility supports full Pantone color matching — over 2,000 shade recipes are maintained in our database, with custom dyeing available for orders exceeding 3,000 pairs.

After knitting, socks move through our linking department, where toe-closing is performed on Rosa and Lonati linking machines for seamless comfort. Quality control occurs at four checkpoints: post-knitting inspection, post-linking check, wash testing (5-cycle shrinkage and pilling assessment), and final pre-packaging audit. Our defect rate consistently stays below 1.5%, well under the industry average of 3–5%.

Packaging is fully customizable — from header cards and polybags to premium gift boxes with magnetic closures. We operate a dedicated packaging line with automated bagging and labeling equipment, capable of processing 20,000 pairs per day. For retail programs, we offer barcode printing, hang tags, and shelf-ready carton configurations tailored to your logistics requirements.
